Parveen Kulkarni Sir...

He's a gem of made easy.Simply great. He deals with almost 5 subjects of paper 1 of IES  i.e. Thermodynamics, fluid mechanics,RAC, IC Engines and power plant.
He has himself prepared rigorously for IAS and unluckily failed. But he had achieved under 10 rank in IES one or two times. And he judiciously uses his hard work to make it easy fro us.Being a student for long time he intrinsically knows where a student struggles and what can confuse him.So he makes things as easy and as simple it can get.
He puts a lot of energy in teaching. And expects the student to behave the same way.Dozing or chatting in class a bit won't do at all.Dangerous fellow that way.But is friendly with extra inquisitive students which i don't like. There is always this one irritating fellow who poses highly stupid questions and tries to speak as much as he can.Though his courage is commendable and sometimes entertains but mostly a put off.
You should see his facial expressions as he repeats again and again seemingly simple but dicey fundamentals. He takes care that a student remembers a concept and thus owns some suggestive examples for few topics.
I recall a interesting incident when he said to some guy going outside for toilet break during class that it is a throttling process.Funny yet squeamish.

Amit Kakkar sir...

He was the first teacher i got acquainted with.

He is simply awesome looking and i feel no shame in saying that every young girl has a huge crush on him.He belongs from kanpur.Has a very fair colour  shiny bouncy kind of mushroom cut hair.He is on little heavier side.
Always wears half sleeves hawaiin shirts tucked out in neutral colours or checks with plain blue jeans. His right pocket of jeans has a marking of calculator signifying he never leaves his calculator home and mind you being a mechanical engineer you never should too.In general he seems like over grown intelligent boy.He makes us wonder if some people are born lucky with high IQ and a personality to go with it.Alas! he was married just after his b tech.He has special interest in Astrology and mysteries of human body.

He wears his attitude on his sleeves. Not even for a moment he forgets that he is our god and we are His mere disciples. He is very passionate about concepts and knows that everyone sitting below are complete idiots so tries to rescue us from his seemingly deep knowledge.Take care of females by addressing them as "madame" and scaring them all the time by posing questions he plans to answer.Mind you until you answer him in exact words he wants to listen he will dismiss them completely mocking you in the process. So beware before speaking the first thing in your mind.

He focusses a lot on concept but little on application point of view which leaves you a lot of homework if you are planning to solve questions in exam.Best part is that he senses when class has become boring and tell appropriate stories to entertain.I absolutely love his stories about his wife , childhood and kid "chotu" and the way he narrates them in cynical , real yet funny way.He is more of a performer in that way.On the darker side these stories will reverberate in your mind when you try to remember concepts as he forbids anyone to write and he dictates bare minimum things. So his notes as not as good they must be.

My suggestion is to read the topic before going to his class as he throws multiple questions and it feels great to answer him especially with his temptations like drinks, meals etc which he never fulfills. Secondly read the notes and book same day and write the missing portions he explained as you tend to forget then quickly...
Best of Luck...

How i got this idea...

When i started taking coaching really seriously after few failed interviews and bad gone exam that i actually started wondering why i have to commit all these mistakes myself.Well the answer was i didn't had anybody to guide me.I blame most of the blunders in my life because of this only.I may be wrong but frankly i never had this strong feeling towards a single vocation.i wanted to be pilot,IPS officer, psychologist, choreographer, sports person at different times of my life.

As usual i was given option to be either engineer or doctor and i chosed the first option because i can't stand blood, stink etc.

I am having this feeling that writing this is going to waste my considerable amount of time. But i must find time to do this because i feel i have information which is worthy of sharing.

I too have some selfish motive to be a notable blogger and eventually a novelist. So with baring my soul i'll bare all things i ve learnt along the way..
And i hope somebody will read it one day and say thanks if not in words then in heart..
